Simple2Stylish is a small ethnic wear store based in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, selling unstitched dress materials and handloom sarees that we choose ourselves — over a hundred designs, every suit set complete with a matching dupatta, and every saree with its blouse piece. What we stock

Cotton dress material for every day, in printed and plain weaves, including Jaipuri cotton and cotton satin. Bandhani tied by hand in Kutch, Gujarat, on cotton for daily wear and on gajji silk for occasions. Pakistani lawn, the fine cotton behind the Pakistani suit tradition. Jam satin, cotton silk, organza, muslin and upada silk for party wear. Phulkari suit sets hand embroidered in Punjab, madhubani print suits, ikat print and Jaipuri hand block. Because a suit that fits is worth more than a suit that is convenient. Buying unstitched means you decide the neckline, the sleeve, the length and whether the bottom is a salwar, a churidar or a plazo — and it usually costs less than a readymade set of the same fabric.

Every fabric is photographed with minimum studio light so the colour stays as close to the cloth as possible, and its composition is stated on the product page — the two things people get wrong when buying fabric online are colour and content. We photograph with minimum studio light rather than heavy studio lighting, so the colour stays as close to the fabric as possible. Screen resolution and the light you are viewing in can still shift a shade a little. Buy to believe.

What is the difference between dress material and an unstitched suit?

There is none — both mean the same thing here, and both include the dupatta. You receive the top fabric, the bottom fabric and a matching dupatta, uncut, for your tailor to stitch to your measurements.
